Playa Grande is... a pristine white sand beach on the North Pacific Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. Our consistent waves and status as an important nesting site of the giant leatherback turtle draws surfers and eco-tourists alike to Playa Grande. Our tranquil little community of boutique hotels and beach houses is nestled amongst the Las Baulas National Marine Park and the Tamrindo Wildlife Refuge, which includes the ocean, beach, dry forest, and largest mangrove estuary in Central America. Playa Grande, Costa Rica is Ecotourism at its best!
