01 - Website Stewardship Overview

Technology + Local Knowledge = Great Website

The Website Stewardship Program enables locals to take ownership of their community website.  Locals can use their website not only to keep their community organized and informed, but also to promote their community as a vacation destination as well.  Everyone is welcome to join this group, get involved and take advantage of all that your community website has to offer.

Website Stewards are simply folks who get involved to help to publish community information.   Whether you want to help publish community news and events, or simply share your great photos, your efforts are appreciated. Whether you want to help publish the community guide for visitors, or simply be a friendly voice to answer questions on the visitors forum, your efforts are appreciated.

And don't worry about learning how.  Just Ask Locals provides detailed step-by-step instructions and video help tutorials on how to do everything.

To get started, browse the pages below and decide how you would like to help.  Then contact us (contact link in group sidebar) so that we can help you get started.

Just Ask Locals enables communities to put their best foot forward and self-promote their own vacation community rather than letting potential visitors rely on third party reviews which may not be accurate.  It is important to understand, however, that Just Ask Locals is simply the host and technology provider, and although Just Ask Locals Admin is here to help, it is the community that is ultimately responsible for managing the content on their website.
